As we've long mentioned, Comcast, Cox, and Time Warner Cable have struck a deal with Sprint to re-brand the company's mobile phone service, and offer it in a bundle with broadband, VoIP, and Cable TV. The Hollywood Reporter chimes in on the battle of the "quadruple play", and notes that Comcast and Cox are finally testing the Sprint wireless service in several markets this month."At first, integration will come in small strokes, including unlimited calling from Sprint wireless to one's cable voice IP account, combined voicemail and e-mail and remote recording of one's home DVR. In a few years, though, the quadruple play will grow more sophisticated, untethering cable's video feed from the home for mobile viewing."Cablevision is working on its own wireless solution, according to the report.
