Amended from WirelessIQ:
"The good news is that instead of getting wired to the Internet, a
growing number of people have discovered 802.11 broadband wireless
technology. Wireless is the most cost-effective way to deliver
high-speed Internet connections to small, medium and large pockets of
Internet users that still do not have broadband Internet access.
People living in neighborhoods with no broadband can order a T1
circuit from the local telephone company, install a wireless antenna on
the roof of their home and then start broadcasting high-speed wireless
connections to their neighbors for a monthly subscription."
