Another loving tale of Verizon Fios adoration, today from the Associated Press, which focuses on a Massapequa Park, New York family that pays Verizon $220 a month for TV, phone, high-speed Internet service and two cell phones. As we've noted the report explores how investors aren't happy with the costs and lack of immediate returns from Fios, but customers (who can get it) are pleased with the service. "Customer reports complaints have dropped by a factor of four or five when we've replaced the copper with fiber," says a Verizon networking exec in the piece.
