Amended from TechDirt Wireless: While we've been skeptical of products that try to set up WiFi access points with cellular backhaul, this piece in the Seattle Times seems to rave on and on about one such offering, suggesting it has plenty of potential. It certainly does have some uses within very specific applications -- specifically teams on the go. It also does solve one of the bigger issues with fast cellular wireless data, which is that users are required to buy new equipment.
