"This is totally the future in bars and restaurants," a man is quoted as saying in the The Greensboro News-Record in a piece that just now discovers how free Wi-Fi is finding its way out of the coffee shop. "You just have to be careful not to spill any beer on your computer." Nothing particularly surprising here; many businesses offer free Wi-Fi, and the nation's most popular ISP (linksys) remains a strong runner up. Questions: Where's the strangest place you've seen that has Wi-Fi? Will 3G and 4G services ultimately make Wi-Fi irrelevant?
