The World's Leading IPTV Event Co-hosted with The Connected Home and TV Over Net Conferences

The IPTV World Forum is to set a new standard next year as it reaches it’s most successful levels yet. (www.iptv-forum.com). Being held at the Olympia in London on March 5th – 7th, The IPTV World Forum is anticipating over 5000 visitors, and will host in excess of 150 exhibitors.

The conference will feature over 40 worldwide telcos & ISPs discussing IPTV service deployment issues including Telefonica, PCCW, Belgacom, BT, SaskTel, Deutsche Telekom AG/T-Com, Telstra, T-Online France, AT&T, Telecom New Zealand, NetCologne, Telekom Austria, Fastweb, BSkyB, Orange, Bharti Airtel Ltd and Siminn.
Leading speakers include: Bernard Ghillebaert, CEO, Orange UK , Jean-Charles De Keyser, Chairman, Belgacom Skynet, Mary Turner, CEO, Tiscali, Paul Berriman, Head of Strategic Market Development, PCCW, Ashley Highfield, Director of Future Media & Technology, BBC, Paolo Agostinelli, Head of Media & TV, Fastweb, Marc Schroeder, Senior VP, T-Home Deutsche Telekom, Chris Coles, President/CEO, Myrio – A Siemens Company and Jeff Weber, VP Product & Strategy, AT&T

It will also feature leading content players and broadcasters as well as an IPTV showcase area in the exhibition featuring service demonstrations from 25 leading worldwide IPTV deployments.
The World Forum next year is also seeing a change in format – it will run concurrent to two other Junction conferences; The Connected Home (www.the-connected-home.co.uk) & TV Over Net (www.tvover-net.com).

In addition, the three day joint exhibition, being held for all three conferences, will be free to attend.

Ian Johnson, MD, commented, ‘Delivering video over the internet is rapidly emerging into a significant delivery platform for content. Coupled with The Connected Home examining future service and device convergence, and how content is delivered around the home, the show is a compelling draw for the telecoms, digital broadcasting and device markets. This year we have made our exhibition free to attend as we build the show and look to attract a broader worldwide audience to attend.’

The Connected Home, held on the 5th and 6th March, will include leading speakers such as;
• Peter Kerckhoff, Senior VP Content & Portal for T-Online
• Robin Truchy, Director XBOX Live Europe, Middle-East and Africa, Microsoft
• Thor Jes Thorisson, CTO of Siminn.

TV Over Net, being held on the 7th March, will also host expert speaker in its field including;
• Griffin Parry Director of Broadband & Mobile, BSkyB
• Vincent Dureau, Head of TV Technology, Google Inc
• Kevin Baughan, Director Network Strategy, NTL.
